PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drug delivery system containing flavonoids with improved medicinal loading.SOLUTION: The invention provides a conjugate of a delivery agent containing a chemical moiety and at least one flavonoid. The flavonoid exists in a monomeric form or dimeric form before conjugation and remains in the monomeric form or dimeric form after conjugation. As the flavonoid, (-)-epicatechin, (-)-epigallocatechin, (+)-catechin, (-)-epicatechin gallic acid, or (-)-gallic acid epigallocatechin is used. As the polymer which constitutes a chemical moiety, aldehyde-terminated poly (ethylene glycol), aldehyde-derivatized hyaluronic acid, and the like are illustrated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
