Disclosed in the embodiments of the present invention are a flight mode control method and mobile terminal, the method comprising: when the mobile terminal is maintaining a data connection and a voice call connection with a 2G network, receiving a flight mode trigger command; in response to the flight mode trigger command, sending a voice call interrupt command to a modem in the mobile terminal, such that the modem interrupts the voice call; receiving a message sent by the modem that the voice call has been interrupted, and sending a packet data protocol deactivation request to the modem; when receiving a message sent by the modem that the packet data protocol deactivation has been successful, sending a flight mode initiation command to the modem, such that the modem turns on the flight mode of the mobile terminal. The method of the present invention can improve the efficiency of initiating a mobile terminal flight mode. |
