PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a high quality coil by bending a winding accurately at a target angle.SOLUTION: In an expansion process, a winding 30 is expanded by expansion means 12 by giving a tensile load until a predetermined value is exceeded, and the winding 30 is hardened to have a target hardness and shaped into a straight line material 30'. In a bending process, the straight line material 30' is bent repeatedly by bending means 14 and shaped into a coil 34. More specifically, the winding 30 is hardened uniformly to have a target hardness in the expansion process, and then bent in the bending process while managing the hardness of the winding 30 intentionally by control means 16. Consequently, the winding 30 can be bend accurately at a target angle, and a high quality coil 34 can be manufactured. |
