PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the storage of a keeping compartment such as a safe from being easily known and also to prevent robbery by making one of a front surface plate and a rear surface plate corresponding to the storing part of a storing body which is attached to a base so as to be rotatable in a horizontal direction to be opened/closed and making the other not to be opened. SOLUTION: A keeping compartment device 1 includes a bureau 2 and the safe 3 stored in the bureau 2. The bureau 2 is constituted of the base 4 and the storing body 5 formed on the upper surface of the base 4. The storing body 5 is attached to the base 4 so as to be rotatable in the horizontal direction with a slice ball bearing 6. The storing body 5 is constituted of a drawer part 51 being an object storing part and the storing part 52 which is formed on the upper surface of the drawer part 51 and stores the safe 3. The storing part 52 is provided with the rear surface plate 53 performing the duty of an openable/closable door in order to use and take out the safe at a rear surface side (a). A front surface plate 54 is disposed at a front surface side (b). The front surface plate 54 is closed and cannot be opened.
