INKJET RECORDING PAPER AND INKJET PRINTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a large dot area and a high printing density in an inkjet printing system, particularly, an inkjet printing system which prints using a line head type inkjet printer of a resolution of 300 dpi or lower.

SOLUTION: Penetration into a recording paper of a pigment in an oil ink ejected to the recording paper is suppressed by coating polyvinyl pyrrolidone of a K value of 40 or smaller by a density of 0.1-3.0 g/m2to a printing surface of the recording paper. At the same time, penetration in a plane direction of the recording paper is permitted. Hence a large dot area and a high printing density are achieved.
