<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video processing circuit in which the occurrence of a pseudo contour is prevented independently of the varying direction of a light emitting scheme, and to provide a video display device using the circuit, and a video processing method and a video displaying method using the video processing method. <P>SOLUTION: When video signals S1 and video signals S3 which are delayed equivalent to one field are received and the signal level of the video signals S1 is greater than the signal level of the video signals S3, a motion detection result S4 is outputted. When the signal level of the video signals S1 is less than the signal level of the video signals S3, a motion detection result S5 is outputted. A flag F1 is raised based on the motion detection result S4. Video signals S8 are outputted by delaying video signals S6, in which lighting pattern is switched, for equivalent to one field and the lighting pattern of the video signals S8 is switched based on the motion detection result S5 and the flag F1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
