<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent image persistence and to make unnaturalness better. <P>SOLUTION: Video signals of continuous two fields or two frames are memorized and differences are computed by each of the regions dividing the video signals in the same plurality and to the same sizes by each of the fields or the frames. Whether the video signals are animation images or still images is thereafter determined from the results of the computation. When the signals are determined to be the animation images, motion vectors are extracted based on the differential values by each of the regions and the summation of the motion vectors is found and the images are moved in the direction meeting the summation of the motion vectors. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
