<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector that is efficiently cooled according to a heat source and reduced in noise. <P>SOLUTION: The projector includes an upper and lower cases, serving as first and second cases respectively. The first case has the heat source including at least a light source device, the second case has a fan 105. The first and second cases are combined so as to be movable.
