PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic equipment having an opening for heat dissipation on the top surface of a case capable of making the preventive structure usable as many times as needed, and further preventing overheating inside the case during the use despite of being provided with a preventive structure for preventing foreign matters from entering the opening during an installation work. SOLUTION: An I/O module 13 has a communication circuit, and an input and output circuit in a case 16. A terminal table 15 for connection to a control target equipment is detachably connected to a connection part 17 on the front surface of the case 16. An opening 18 for heat dissipation is provided on a top surface of the case 16. A shutter 19 for opening and closing the opening 18 is installed slidably in the front-and-rear direction in the case 16, and an operating lever 20 for switching opening/closing of the shutter 19 is arranged on the front surface of the case 16. When the shutter 19 is under its closed state, connecting the terminal table 15 to the connection part 17 is not allowed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
