The arrangement has a metallic solid contact element fixed around the conductor (1), on which a continuing electric conductor (3) is attached. The contact elements (K) are arranged in two assembly position around the conductor and have clamping wedges (4,5), whose radial dimensions are changeable. The contact elements have a conical outer surface, and comprises of two collets (6,7) with a conical inner surface, which abuts the outer surface of the clamping wedge.
