PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pinball game machine capable of making a player interested in a game ball which has not enter an opened winning hole, and capable of retaining the player's interest while the winning hole is opened and after the winning hole is closed. SOLUTION: The pinball game machine comprises a first area 61 including a shooting hole and a second area 62 without including the shooting hole 53 within a play area 31; a border member 55 to prohibit movement of game balls from the first area 61 to the second area 62; a communication path 57 communicating with the first area 61 and the second area 62; an apportioning mechanism to prohibit or permit movement of game balls from the first area 61 to the second area 62 via the communication path 57; a first winning hole 58 disposed in the first area 61; and a first open/close door 70 to open/close the first winning hole 58. When the first open/close door 70 is retained in the closed state, the apportioning mechanism prohibits movement of game balls via the communication path 57, and permits movement of game balls via the communication path 57 as operatively connected with the opening/closing of the first open/close door 70.
