<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a polycondensation catalyst for manufacturing a polyester having an excellent catalytic activity while not containing antimony, and obtaining the polyester excellent in a hue and transparency, the polycondensation catalyst, and a manufacturing method for the polyester using the polycondensation catalyst. <P>SOLUTION: An organic titanium compound is hydrolyzed in an organic solvent dispersed with a solid base particle, and a coating layer comprising a titanic acid is formed on a surface of the solid base particle (the first method), in this manufacturing method for the polyester by an esterification reaction or an ester interchange reaction. An organic silicon compound, and/or an organic aluminum compound, and/or an organic zirconium compound is/are hydrolyzed in the solvent dispersed with a solid base particle, to form an inside coating film layer comprising an oxide of at least one kind of element selected from silicon, aluminum and zirconium, or a compound oxide of at least two kinds of elements selected from the group comprising silicon, aluminum and zirconium, and then an outside coating film layer comprising the titanic acid is formed on the inside coating film layer, as described hereinbefore (the second method). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
