<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication system that can prolong a battery life by having a child node that performs battery operation and has a long operating period in a sleep mode in existence confirmation. <P>SOLUTION: A parent node 1A: transmits, in a beacon signal slot TS0, an existence confirmation request and allocation information showing an allocation state of an assurance time slot TSb for each child node 2A being a transmission destination of the existence confirmation request by using a super frame SF2 including the beacon signal slot TS0 and the assurance time slot TSb provided continuously with the beacon signal slot TS0 and excluding a competition access slot TSa; and sets the number of the assurance time slot TSb of the super frame SF2 so as to be the same number as the number of the child nodes 2A being the transmission destinations of the existence confirmation requests. The child node 2A returns an ACK signal to the parent node 1A in the assurance time slot TSb allocated to its own when receiving the existence confirmation request. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
