摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface modification method for imparting low friction property and low wear property to the surface of a member made of a resin and maintaining the properties for a long period of time, and to provide a member made of a resin having excellent low friction property and low wear property of the surface and maintaining the properties for a long period of time. <P>SOLUTION: A deep-groove ball bearing includes a sealing device 25 that covers an opening between an inner ring 21 and an outer ring 22. An elastic member 32 comprises a resin composition containing particles of a lubricating substance and rubber, and is modified by exposure to plasma to have a surface with low friction property and low wear property. When the surface of a resin member comprising a resin composition containing carbon black particles and nitrile rubber is exposed to plasma in air at normal pressure, ions are injected into the resin member to induce evaporation or alteration of the molecules of the nitrile rubber in a surface layer portion, and thereby, particles of the carbon black coated with the rubber are exposed on the surface of the resin member, which modifies the surface of the resin member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
