PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery state estimation device which is capable of accurately estimating an internal state of a battery even when a value of a parameter of a slow response part of an equivalent circuit model of the battery is deviated from its fixed initial value due to variation or aging of the battery.SOLUTION: The battery state estimation device includes: parameter successive estimation means 10 which uses an initial value of a fast response part BM1 of a battery equivalent circuit model BM to successively estimate a value of a parameter of the fast response part BM1 on the basis of a charge/discharge current value and a terminal voltage value; data recording means 6 which records the charge/discharge current value and the terminal voltage; update parameter estimation means 8 which estimates values of respective parameters of the fast response part BM1 and a slow response part BM2 on the basis of the data when a vehicle stops; and parameter updating means 9 and 11 which substitute the initial value of the parameter of the fast response part BM1 with a fixed value of the fast response part BM1 identified by the update parameter estimation means 8 and substitute the value of the parameter of the slow response part BM2 with a fixed value identified by the update parameter estimation means 8. |
