PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame member capable of being easily and strongly mounted on a sheet surface without complicating the structure in the sheet and a method for mounting the frame member.SOLUTION: A frame member includes: a body block 10A disposed on a front face side of a sheet surface 6; and a backing block 10B disposed on a back face side of the sheet surface 6. The backing block 10B includes an opening frame 18 having an opening 17. The body block 10A includes insertion walls 23a and 23b inserted in the opening 17 of the opening frame 18 and a locking claw 25 which is integrally formed on projection end sides of the insertion walls 23a and 23b and is engaged with an edge section on the back face side of the opening frame 18. The insertion walls 23a and 23b and the locking claw 25 are inserted in the opening 17 of the opening frame 18 in a state of winding an opening edge section of the sheet surface 6 inwardly, and the wound sheet surface 6 is held and fixed with the opening frame 18.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
