PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for transmitting channel state information in a wireless communication system are provided to improve system performance by transmitting channel information for a time domain and a plurality of frequencies divided according to the state of the interference link of a terminal. CONSTITUTION: A channel condition is measured based on an interference level received from one or more adjacent cells. Channel state information about a plurality of resource regions divided according to predefined regulation is generated by using a measured channel condition and an offset value corresponded to the plurality of resource areas which is received from a serving base station. Generated channel state information is transmitted to the serving base station. The offset value is a value for calculating the rate of a CRS(Common Reference Signal) EPRE(Energy Per Resource Element) over a PDSCH(Physical Downlink Shared CHannel) EPRE in a specific resource area unit.
