PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device that removes a carrier adhered to the surface of an image carrier with a brush-like roller and sufficiently removes the carrier carried by the brush-like roller in the device, a process cartridge, and an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: A cleaning device 14 includes a carrier removing member 14c that swings to bite into brush bristles 14b2 between small and large amounts, the brush bristles provided around the periphery of a brush-like roller 14b that removes a carrier adhered to the surface of a photoreceptor drum 11 (image carrier) in addition to a toner adhered to the surface of the photoreceptor drum 11, so as to remove the carrier carried by the brush-like roller 14b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
