PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature sensor abnormality detection device for a saddle type vehicle capable of enhancing detection accuracy of abnormality in a temperature sensor.SOLUTION: An abnormality determination unit of a temperature sensor abnormality detection device for a saddle type vehicle determines presence/absence of abnormality of a temperature sensor on the basis of a first detection temperature (Tc1) that is detected by the temperature sensor after an operation stop command for stopping operation of an engine unit is performed, and a second detection temperature (Tc2) that is detected by the temperature sensor after an engine speed detected by an engine speed sensor becomes zero.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
