PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanning object detection device that can secure sufficient object detection performance by restricting dew condensation at a window although its structure is simple.SOLUTION: Heat is absorbed from a bottom surface EHb of a heat radiation member EH by placing the heat radiation member EH between a transparent plate TR and a light projection system LPS. Furthermore, by radiating the absorbed heat from a top surface EHc of the heat radiation member EH, the whole inner surface of the transparent plate TR facing the top surface EHc can be warmed.
