PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a carbamate compound that can efficiently recover ammonia and an organic hydroxy compound after carbamation reaction and can stably perform the operation.SOLUTION: The method for producing a carbamate compound by using as a raw material an organic primary amine, a carbonic acid derivative and an organic hydroxy compound comprises: a carbamation step of producing a carbamate compound from the organic primary amine, the carbonic acid derivative and the organic hydroxy compound by carbamation reaction and recovering a gas phase component including the organic hydroxy compound and ammonia; an ammonia absorption step of allowing the gas phase component to be absorbed into an absorption liquid comprising water or ammonia water; an ammonia diffusion step of heating the absorption liquid and separating the ammonia and a liquid phase component from the absorption liquid; an organic hydroxy compound separation step of separating the organic hydroxy compound contained in the liquid phase component after the diffusion step from a water phase; and a discharge step of discharging the carbonic acid derivative and/or a carbonate.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
