<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driver's gaze direction-associated front collision risk warning system that allows a driver to enter an intersection safely by sensing an obstacle in a direction opposite from a direction in which the driver gazes when entering the intersection, i.e. a direction in which the driver cannot gaze, associatively with navigation, and to provide a method thereof and a vehicle utilizing the same. <P>SOLUTION: A driver's gaze direction-associated front collision risk warning system includes: a driver's gaze direction recognition part which recognizes a gaze direction of a driver; an obstacle sensing part which senses an obstacle in a direction in which the driver does not gaze; and an engine control unit which grasps the direction in which the driver gazes by analyzing face direction data on the driver received from the driver's gaze direction recognition part when entering an intersection, requests the obstacle sensing part to sense an obstacle in a direction opposite from the direction in which the driver gazes, and analyzes a result of obstacle sensing. Consequently, the driver is warned when entering the intersection according to whether there is an obstacle so that a traffic accident due to the driver's lack of care can be prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
