<p>In using an aqueous agent for killing Mycobacterium sp., the agent contains, with respect to total disinfectant, (a) 30-30 wt.% linear or branched lower, 1-6 carbon (C) aliphatic alcohol(s) (I) and (b) 0.01-3, preferably 0.05-1 wt.% amphoteric surfactant(s). In using an aqueous agent for killing Mycobacterium sp., the agent contains, with respect to total disinfectant, (a) 30-30 wt.% linear or branched lower, 1-6 carbon (C) aliphatic alcohol(s) of formula (I) and (b) 0.01-3, preferably 0.05-1 wt.% amphoteric surfactant(s).
