The high power generator (1) has a pulse generator (2) with a magnetic coil flux compressor (10) and a pulse former (4), connected to the output of the pulse generator, having an oscillation circuit device with at least 2 parallel oscillation circuits (13,14) of different resonance frequency, connected in series. The parallel oscillation circuits are coupled via at least one non-linear ferromagnetic coupling element.
