VIDEO SIGNAL DISPLAY APPARATUS

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of occurrence of a sense of incongruity in a display image resulting from a change in the lightness of an input video signal when a display range of the display image is changed depending on a display mode because a correction amount is determined depending on a display position in a power-saving technology wherein the luminance is reduced from nearly a center of the display screen toward its circumference parts.

SOLUTION: The video signal display apparatus is characterized in including a video signal processing section that changes spatial shapes, each of which is formed by plotting points with an equal correction slope gain in a displayed screen used for reducing the luminous quantity of the video signal, depending on a magnification/reduction rate of the input video signal.
