PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a satchel which can maintain a high commodity value without making the appearance deteriorate under a displayed state at a store, and also, can eliminate fear that a child puts his finger in a gap between the end edge of an overlapping piece section and shoulder straps. SOLUTION: The overlapping piece section 25 which is provided at the upper end part of the shoulder straps 6 is made to pass through a connecting ring 21 which is attached to a belt attaching utensil 5 of the back support section 1. At the same time, the overlapping piece section 25 is folded back and overlapped with the shoulder strap 6, and the upper end part of the shoulder strap 6 can be attached to the connecting ring 21 by sewing the overlapping piece section 25 and the shoulder strap 6 along both side parts of the overlapping piece section 25 which is adjacent to the folding back section 25a. The folding back section 25a in the overlapping piece section 25 and the facing end edge part 25b are fixed to the carrier belt 6 by sealing means 30 and 31 such as sewing. Thus, this satchel is constituted in such a manner that the gap S between the end edge section 25b of the overlapping piece section 25 and the shoulder strap 6 may not be widened.
