<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor relay which has high sensitivity, and allows reduction of the height and the size thereof. <P>SOLUTION: A semiconductor relay includes a light emitting element 100 that turns on or off in response to an input signal, a photoelectric conversion element 200 serving as a light receiving element optically coupled with the light emitting element 100 and generating electromotive force, and an output element 300 composed of a switching semiconductor element switching with electric power generated by the light receiving element.
