<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor torque controller capable of realizing a motor output (torque) limitation for obtaining a proper operation performance according to a travel condition. <P>SOLUTION: A motor limitation torque which is the upper limit value of a command torque for a motor is varied according to a vehicle speed and a brake oil pressure (stepping amount on a brake pedal). The motor limitation torque is reduced as the brake oil pressure becomes higher. The brake oil pressure at the time point when reduction of motor limitation torque is started is allowed to be lowered as the vehicle speed rises. When the brake oil pressure is equal to a predetermined value or higher, the motor limitation torque becomes minus or zero. The value of minus of the motor limitation torque becomes larger as the brake oil pressure rises.
