<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device capable of returning to a normal mode even right after transition to a power-saving mode. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic device of the present invention has a power-saving mode in which memory operation is suspended, and includes first and second memories, a memory control unit and a central control unit. The first and second memories can be individually suspended. The memory control unit has a function to switch between a control signal to the first memory and a control signal to the second memory. The central control unit changes the second memory to a suspension state at the time of transition to the power-saving mode, and changes the first memory to a suspension state and controls the memory control unit to switch between the control signal to the first memory and the control signal to the second memory after the second memory is in a suspension state in which the second memory can return to a normal state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
