PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly agitate developer without reducing the amount conveyed.SOLUTION: An agitation screw 90-1 is rotatably supported in a developer container for containing developer to agitate the developer. The agitation screw 90-1 is formed in a screw shape around a rotation axis, and has a blade member 92 for agitating the developer and conveying it in a rotation axis direction and a wire member 95 stretched between blades 920 facing each other in the rotation axis direction in the blade member 91. The developer is agitated by rotation of the blade member 92 and conveyed along the axial direction. The wire member 95 applies shear stress on the developer, and agitates pulverized developer, to reduce an area where the powder lump translates axially. |
