PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water heater capable of urging a user to make an inquiry to a maker at a timing requiring maintenance/inspection.SOLUTION: A water heater includes a control portion for controlling operation states of a hot water supply portion and a bath portion. The control portion has hot water supply processing portions (S10-S70) for executing a hot water supply processing to supply a prescribed amount of hot water to a bathtub by controlling the hot water supply portion and the bath portion in response to reception of a command to supply hot water to the bathtub, a determination portion (S1) for determining whether the hot water supply portion or the bath portion has reached a long-period use state after a use for a prescribed long time or more, or not, and a hot water supply time changing portion (S3) for changing a time required from the start to the completion of the hot water supply processing by the hot water supply processing portions, between a case when the determination portion determines the long-period use state has not been attained and a case when it determines the long-period use state has been attained.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
