PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce time length required until an actual air amount is converged into a target value while suppressing overshoot of the actual air amount when a target air amount is rapidly varied.SOLUTION: In a control device for an internal combustion engine having an intake passage 11 connected to an internal combustion engine body and a throttle valve 12 disposed in the intake passage 11, when a target air amount variation amount which is a difference between a current target air amount acquired by target air amount acquiring means and a previous target air amount is determined to be larger than a maximum variation amount Δmcalculated by maximum variation amount calculating means (S110), target air amount correcting means corrects a value of the current target air amount to be the sum of the previous target air amount acquired by the target air amount acquiring means and the maximum variation amount Δmcalculated by the maximum variation amount calculating means (S112).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13 |
