PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately estimate the size of a target.SOLUTION: The hydrospace detector includes: a transmitting part transmitting a transmitted wave; a receiving part generating a reception signal from a reflected wave from the transmitted wave; a target detecting part 11 detecting a target from the reception signal; a density index value estimating part 12 estimating a density index value of the target in a predetermined area; and a size index value calculating part 13 calculating a size index value of the target based on a target signal intensity as the maximum intensity of the reception signal for the target and the density index value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11 |
