PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a steel rod material from moving obliquely and crossing another steel rod material when a steel rod material accumulation device accumulates the steel rod materials.SOLUTION: A steel rod material accumulation device comprises: a chain type conveyor device 11 capable of conveying a steel rod material 1; a slide device 21 having an arm member 22 capable of receiving the steel rod material 1; and a stacker 41 for aligning and placing the steel rod materials 1. The arm member 22 is located at a height position where the steel rod material 1 can be placed on the arm member 22 while moving along a circular arc at a terminal 11a of the conveyor device 11. The arm member 22 moves at a travel speed slower than a conveying speed of the conveyor device 11 in an advance direction when receiving the steel rod material 1. The steel rod material 1 is transferred from the arm member 22 onto the stacker 41 by moving the arm member 22 in the advance direction, and thus the movement of the arm member 22 in the advance direction is allowed and the movement of the steel rod material 1 placed on the arm member 22 is restricted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
