PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat sensitive recording medium, with which a high quality image can be produced, the air venting properties between a plate- making block copy film and a photosensitive resin under the condition that especially a flexographic printing block copy film is employed, a heat resistance, a productivity and conveying properties are excellent. SOLUTION: In the heat sensitive recording medium, which is produced by laminating a heat sensitive recording layer including at least a leuco dye, a developer and an organic solvent-soluble binder resin and a protective layer, which includes an ultraviolet-curing resin occupying 50 wt.% or more of the total solids of the protective layer and a filler having the average particle diameter of 3 to 10 μm and occupying 5 to 10 wt.% of the total solids of the protective layer, in the order named on a support, the protective layer includes an α-aminoketone-based photopolymerization initiator. |
