DETECTION/MEASUREMENT OF MALARIA INFECTION DISEASE UTILIZING NATURAL IMMUNITY BY HEMOZOIN INDUCTION, SCREENING OF PREVENTIVE OR THERAPEUTIC MEDICINE FOR MALARIA INFECTION DISEASE, AND REGULATION OF NATURAL IMMUNITY INDUCTION

A method of malaria infection disease detection/measurement utilizing hemozoin (HZ) induction; a method of screening of a vaccine for malaria infection disease and preventive or therapeutic medicine for malaria infection disease by the use of the detection/measurement method; and means for regulation of natural immunity induction using the HZ, synthetic HZ or derivative thereof as an adjuvant or immune activator. Detection/measurement of malaria infection disease is carried out by the detection/measurement of natural immunity activity dependent upon MyD88 by means of TLR9 through HZ induction. This detection/measurement of malaria infection disease can be used for diagnosis of malaria infection disease. Further, by the use of the detection/measurement method, there is carried out screening of a vaccine for malaria infection disease, or preventive or therapeutic medicine for malaria infection disease. Still further, by the use of the HZ, synthetic HZ or derivative thereof as an adjuvant or immune activator, there is accomplished regulation of natural immunity induction through HZ induction.
