A push plate for a cassette of a bill receiving machine is provided to facilitate installation work and to check the stacked amount of bills through a sensor. A push plate for a cassette of an bill receiving machine is composed of a push plate(220) moving up and down along a guide rail installed at the inner side of a body(210) of a cassette(200), to the predetermined position by receiving elastic force from a spring and a locking unit(230) installed at the lower side of the push plate and the inner bottom of the body to fix the push plate at the lower inside of the body. Guide plates are installed at both ends of the push plate and the push plate moves up and down along the guide rail by the guide plates.
