PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radial tire for a heavy load, maintaining a high elasticity by vulcanization for a long time, especially suitable for a belt structure for a heavy load and excellent in fatigue destruction resistance. SOLUTION: This radial tire for the heavy load comprises a radial carcass layer reinforcing a pair of side wall parts and a tread part over each of bead cores buried in a pair of beads, with each other and a belt layer reinforcing the tread part at the outer circumference of the carcass layer, wherein the belt layer has at least one crossover layer and also a steel cord layer group buried with≥4 layers of coating rubber, and the coating rubber includes an isoprene rubber, a transpolybutadiene and N, N'-diphenylmethane bismaleimide.
