PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To open an opening for a plastic bag easily and cleanly. SOLUTION: The opening tool 1 for the plastic bag is provided mating surfaces consisting of symmetric slant surface 1f at the ends of an upper handle part 1a and a lower handle part 1b, respectively and the mating surfaces are subjected to non-slip processing, and is tong-shaped. When the opening of the plastic bag is pinched by the upper end 1d and the lower end 1e each subjected to the non-slip processing, and the upper handle part 1a and the lower handle part 1b are grasped, the upper end 1d and the lower end 1e slide in the crossing direction to open the opening of the plastic bag easily.
