A method for obtaining gallium of high purity by electrochemical refinement comprises the filtration of gallium, interphase exchange of impurities with gallium and electrochemical refinement with metal-depressant in alkaline fluoride-trilon electrolyte. Additionally, electrochemical refinement of gallium is carried out in close cycle in two-section electrolytic cell, which comprises section a for filtration of gallium and interphase exchange of electro-negative impurities (Аl, Mg, Ca, Zn, Mn, Ті and other), which contained in initial metal gallium with electro-positive impurities (Fe, Pb, Ni, Co, Cu, Ag, Bi, Sn and other) in alkaline fluoride-trilon electrolyte, in which is carried out electrochemical filtration of gallium and interphase exchange of impurities at density of current 650-700 А/mduring 10-15 hours, and section bfor electrochemical refinement of gallium. |
