PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair allowing height adjustment of a backrest, increased in versatility/aesthetic appearance/attachment strength.SOLUTION: A chair is such that: a backrest 5 includes a back inner shell 16; the back inner shell 16 is formed with first to fourth front engaging parts 47-50; and a back outer shell 12 is formed with first to fourth back engaging parts 51-54. The second to fourth front engaging parts 48-50 are engaged with the second to fourth back engaging parts 52-54 by dropping the first front engaging part 47 into the first back engaging part 51 from the upper side to engage therewith, and pushing the backrest 5 wholly to the back outer shell 12. Since engaging parts 47-64 are provided on the rear of the back inner shell 16 and the front surface of the back outer shell 12, the chair is excellent in aesthetic appearance and high in versatility/generality.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
