PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clamp-on type ultrasonic flowmeter capable of giving an alarm by diagnosing a reduction in an acoustic bonding material without directly checking a state of the acoustic bonding material.SOLUTION: The clamp-on type ultrasonic flowmeter obtained by connecting a bottom surface part of a wedge member for mounting a vibrator thereon to an outer wall part of a pipe through the acoustic bonding material includes diagnosis waveform segmenting means for segmenting a reception waveform of a reflection wave or a transmission wave during a time zone before prediction time until the reflection wave or transmission wave of an ultrasonic wave transmitted from the vibrator is received by the vibrator or another vibrator, spectrum computing means for computing a frequency spectrum within a predetermined frequency range of the segmented reception waveform, and alarm means for alarming an abnormality of the acoustic bonding material when the total sum of computed frequency spectrums exceeds a predetermined threshold. |
