摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrially advantageous method for producing a hydride, which can reduce the deterioration of a catalyst and can elongate the catalyst life in continuous production of the 4C hydride corresponding to a 4C unsaturated compound as a raw material by bringing the 4C unsaturated compound into contact with the solid catalyst in which a periodic table 9-11 group metal element is carried on a carrier, in a liquid phase for hydrogenation.SOLUTION: In the method for continuously producing a hydride corresponding to a 4C unsaturated compound as a raw material by bringing the 4C unsaturated compound into contact with a solid catalyst in which a periodic table 9-11 group metal element is carried on a carrier, in a liquid phase for hydrogenation, the hydrogenation is carried out in the presence of 1,4-butanediol as a solvent in which nitrogen components are in a concentration of 1 wt.ppm and 1 wt% in terms of nitrogen atom.
