PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable automatic position-adjustment of a lock device fitted on, for example, a suspend-type sliding door for a jamb of the sliding door, thereby ensuring locking of the lock device.SOLUTION: A sliding-door lock device has a first lock and a second lock, which are a hook lock and a magnet lock respectively. The hook lock consists of: a hook lock body with an engaging member, which is fitted on either a door end of the sliding door or a jamb which the door end contacts; and a receptacle, which is fitted on the other side of either the door end or the jamb to engage with the engaging member. The magnet lock consists of: a magnet lock body with an electromagnet, which is fitted on either the door end or the jamb; and a lock plate, which is fitted on the other side of either the door end or the jamb to stick to the electromagnet under electromagnetic force generated by the electromagnet. |
