PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting foot which can be manufactured easily at a low cost for a roof rail capable of being disposed on an automobile. SOLUTION: This supporting foot involves a supporting foot body 1 having a bottom plate 3. The bottom plate 3 is grasped from the underside by an underlay 6 fixed to the bottom plate 3 using a fixing member 14. The fixing member 14 is locally-supported on the bottom plate 3 and locally-grasps the underlay 6 from the underside. Jointing is ensured by a threaded pin 16 pulling the fixing member 14 to the inner surface of the bottom plate 3.
