PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof side duct for an automobile to provide excellent impact absorbing ability for collision of a passenger head part. SOLUTION: This roof side duct comprises a cylindrical molded product consisting of an inside wall part 21 pointing to the interior of a car room, a mounting wall part 31 pointing to the inner panel of a car body, and side wall parts 37a and 37b to intercouple the inside wall part 21 and the mounting wall part 31. The roof side duct of an automobile is formed that this hollow molded product is provided with air outlet and an air outlet is formed in the inside wall part 21, and an impact absorbing rib 32 extending along the longitudinal direction of the duct is arranged between the inside wall part 21 and the mounting wall part 31.
