PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a driver from erroneously recognizing the circumference of a vehicle periphery. SOLUTION: A computer 30 determines whether or not a door 2 at a driver's seat side is an opened door. When it is determined that the door 2 at the driver's seat side is the opened door, the computer 30 instructs photographing of the circumference of the periphery at a right rear side of the vehicle to a camera 10a and interrupts a series of processing for displaying an image of the periphery at the right rear side of the vehicle photographed by the camera 10a. Similarly, when it is determined that a door 3 at a front passenger seat side/a back door 4 are the opened doors, a series of processing for displaying an image of the periphery at a left rear side of the vehicle/an image of the periphery at a rear side of the vehicle on an area 40b/an area 40c of a display part 40 is interrupted.
