An interface device between a vehicle steering handle and a vehicle data terminal and a method thereof are provided to interface the steeling handle and remote control buttons added on the steering handle with the data terminal, to simply control various programs performed by the data terminal by the steering handle and the remote control buttons, and to let a user feel actually in playing a game through the data terminal. An interface device between a vehicle steering handle and a vehicle data terminal comprises a remote control data receiving unit(101) inputting signals from remote control buttons of the steering handle; a handle data receiving unit(102) inputting information about rotation of the steering handle; a vehicle data receiving unit(103) inputting information about driven condition of the vehicle; and a control unit(104) combining the driven condition of the vehicle, remote control information, and handle rotated information to regulate operation of the data terminal by the remote control and the steering handle.
