<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring instrument, a container and a device for measuring water quality, capable of improving maintainability. <P>SOLUTION: A sensor module 3 includes a body part 31, a partition member 33 positioned on the lower end, and a detection part 34 for performing water quality measurement positioned between the body part 31 and the partition member 33. A measuring part 4 is equipped with a calibration liquid tank 41 into which calibration liquid is introduced, a test water tank 42 into which test water is introduced, a tube 43 for partitioning the calibration liquid tank 41 from the test water tank 42, and a cleaning member 44 for cleaning the detection part 34 of the sensor module 3. When the air having a prescribed pressure is injected into the tube 43, the tube 43 is expanded and abuts on the sensor module 3.
