A fuel cap with a fuel type alarm device in a vehicle is provided to prevent damage from wrong injection of fuel by detecting removal of the fuel cap precisely and displaying the kind of fuel accurately. A fuel cap(100) includes a sensor, a voice or character output unit(3), and an alarm module. The sensor detects displacement of the fuel cap at the inlet of a fuel tank, and the voice or character output unit alarms the kind of fuel on voice or by characters. The alarm module is connected to the sensor and the voice or character output unit, and embedded integrally in the fuel cap of a vehicle. The alarm module controls the voice or character output unit by receiving a signal from the sensor, and supplies power. The alarm module includes a voice memory alarming the kind of fuel, a battery supplying power, and a control unit controlling the voice or character output unit by receiving the signal from the sensor. The sensor is installed in a handle(5) of the fuel cap, and operated by holding and turning the handle.
